The Bus Maintenance Facility (BMF) Project will replace the existing Bus Maintenance Facility which is in disrepair and has surpassed its useful life. The BMF will relocate its operations from the current site at North McDonnell Road and San Bruno Avenue to the North Field Plot 700 site, adjacent to the Ground Transportation Unit (GTU) facility. The new BMF will be a one-story building, approximately 8,000 square feet in size, and will feature a 2-bay vehicle service/maintenance facility, administration offices, maintenance and bus crew facilities, as well as onsite parking for the bus fleet, driver pool and staff.
